How it works.
We are excited to introduce our new price promise for customers who have received a cheaper quote for any like-for-like service which Laser Scanning Ltd offers. We understand that Laser Scanning offers a broad range of complex services, which will ultimately vary depending on your overall requirements. However, we will aim to beat any comparable quote from any UK-based laser scanning service provider, metrology service provider, engineering consultant, or any other related service provider.
We appreciate that our price promise is not as simple as other online retailers as there are many more variables to consider for each job. Firstly, we need to ensure that the services that have been quoted meet your overall requirements and achieve your desired results to Laser Scanning Ltd high standards. A prime example of this is re-manufacturing a part directly from scan STL data. Yes, this is possible, and in certain situations, such as 3D printing one-offs or quick prototypes, it can be done. However, for manufacturing any form of volume, we would not recommend or complete any work where the customer is unwilling to reverse engineer the part to design intent. In contrast, some service providers who do not follow comparable standards may be willing to do this.
